The renovation of the entire complex of the former Psychiatric Hospital involves the restoration and adaptation in terms of layout, equipment, comfort and safety to the new healthcare allocation.
The project is aimed at the restoration of the structure, in accordance with the facilities and existing architectural features.
In the austere building, dated 1875, beds were found for up to 2,000 patients. The centre has been completely renovated and refurbished under the watchful eye of the Superintendent, and currently houses a modern "Centre for Integrated Health Services", for the benefit of the public.
