The new elevated access road to Piazzale Kennedy, according to the designs of architects Cannito, Colombo and Forges Davanzati, connects the ATM car park and San Siro Sports Centre with the motorway.
The objective of the works is the construction of the Piazzale Kennedy Junction, the hub of the city infrastructure system. A large cable-stayed bridge spanning 90 m is also being constructed, allowing lanes to be increased from four to eight.
Grade-level intersections have been created that permit the flow of traffic in all directions.
