The entire construction site for the buildings of the new Logistics Centre in Piacenza covers a floor area of 152,040 m2, dedicated almost entirely to storage and warehousing areas, with a smaller area set aside for offices. As part of the project, a series of road sections have been built to connect the areas with buildings with outdoor areas equipped with shelters dedicated to storage and railway platforms.
To ensure the safety of the entire complex, three electrical substations have also been built, as well as large hubs for the movement of trains and adjoining areas for signalling systems.
