Because if its entirely new approach to social housing, the design and construction of the Edilizia Convenzionata complex in Via Voltri in Milan differs from projects implemented in the past, surpassing the "Korea" concept of abandoned sterile blocks and instead promoting the birth of a city within a city where architectural beauty, usability of environments and large green spaces interact with one another.
The works area, measuring 26,000 m2, is the second largest social housing site in the Municipality of Milan, and will be home to more than 300 homes, a youth centre and a large park, laying the foundations for the development of a new concept of urban coexistence, which is becoming a reality thanks to the public- private partnership.
